Most vastu consultation now happens without a site visit, which raises a fair question about what is actually being assessed. The method is straightforward, and so are its limits.
What Is Assessed From a Plan
A floor plan with accurate orientation carries most of what a vastu assessment uses: the directions of the entrance, the kitchen, the water source, the sleeping rooms and the heavier structural mass.
What a plan does not carry is the surroundings — the slope of the plot, the road, the neighbouring structures — and those matter. Where they do, that limit is stated rather than glossed over.

Proportion in the Recommendations
