How to Prepare
Two things make a consultation worth what you pay for it, and both are on your side of the table.
The first is an accurate birth time. Ten minutes changes the ascendant in roughly one chart out of six, and the ascendant governs most of what a reading rests on. A hospital record or birth certificate is far better than a family recollection, though a recollection is workable if you say so rather than present it as certain.
The second is knowing what you actually want to ask. People often arrive with a general sense that things are wrong and leave with a general answer. A written list of three or four real questions produces a far sharper hour.
