Personal Guidance, Thoughtfully Explained
Understanding Your Concern
Medical astrology has a long history in India and a poor reputation in modern practice, largely because of what gets claimed under the name. The classical material is narrower and more cautious than the contemporary offering.
What the Classical Texts Do
The older literature associates grahas with bodily systems and houses with parts of the body, and describes periods in which the constitution is under strain. It is a framework of correspondence rather than a diagnostic system.
Crucially, it was developed in a context where it sat alongside Ayurveda and a practising physician, not in place of one. It was never the only thing standing between a patient and a disease.
- Grahas associated with bodily systems, houses with regions
- A framework of correspondence rather than diagnosis
- Developed alongside a practising physician, never instead of one
- Periods of strain identified, not conditions named
Where the Modern Offering Goes Wrong
It goes wrong when a chart is used to name a disease, to date a recovery, or to argue that a condition has a non-medical cause requiring an expensive rite. Each of those delays care, and the delay is the harm.
Nothing of that kind is offered here. Health indications are given as indications, alongside medical care and never in place of it, and where symptoms are described the answer is a doctor.
- A chart used to name a disease is being misused
- A non-medical cause offered for a medical condition delays care
- No rite sold as addressing an illness
- Indications given alongside medical care, never instead

How Your Consultation Works
- 1
Establish the Medical Position
What a doctor has said, since that is the frame everything else sits inside.
- 2
Read the Periods
Stretches in which the constitution tends to be under strain, given as timing rather than as content.
- 3
Hold the Line
The boundary is kept explicit throughout, so nothing said can function as a reason to delay treatment.
